ABOUT ME

Danielle C. Meyer, CMA AAMA

I started working in the healthcare field in highschool, & fell inlove with it by chance. At the time, I never in a million years would've guessed that I would've turned my after school job as a file clerk, into a full blown career in healthcare leadership - but that's what I did; I found something I was good at, and ran with it.

Throughout my career I have served in many administrative & clinical roles. I have done front desk, back office, call center, billing, supervision, process improvement, patient data tracking, pretty much administrativley speaking, if the opportunity presented it self I have probably atleast taken a fair swing at it- however there are still many things on my career bucket list.

I graduated in 2014 from William Rainey Harper College with certification as a Medical Assistant and soon after, sucessfully completed the nationally accredited certification exam through the AAMA. My experience as a medical assistant provided me the opportunity to work clinically hands on with patients and along side providers and therefore provided a more indepth passion for the field.

Anyone in health care can affirm that in this field, each and every day is wildly unique and different from the last. Every patient, every experience, every opportunity, every challenge is a new chance to learn & to grow -which is what drives me to seek continuous improvement in every aspect of my life. Since my expertise is in process improvement, I am particularly inclined to view every flaw, obstacle, or challenge as a chance to improve the system as a whole.
